Don’t disrespect the current situation.

Because of the current situation, if you are a successful lawn & landscape business owner, do not, and let me repeat, do not, miss taking a very serious look at selling your business in the current market conditions.

As a business owner, you owe it to yourself and to the enterprise value of your business to investigate the possibilities very, very seriously.

When is the market going to be like this again? Cost of capital is low. Inventory scarce. Multiples are the highest they have been in a long, long, time. We are close or near the top of the market

Private equity is enthusiastic about the lawn & landscape industry and we have several very large active strategic buyers. You don’t want to miss this…it’s hard to imagine it being any better for a seller.

Adding to the urgency is a general belief that we will be entering a downturn, or a down cycle, sometime soon. Can you wait another 7 years or so for it to be this good? Will it ever be this good again?

Even if you’re not ready to retire, now could be a great time to cash in on the value of your enterprise. Complete your non-compete and start another company. When is it going to be this great to be a seller again? Who knows?

As the market changes, multiples will drop. Then, when the downturn hits, they drop even further. Will they come back to the current level? Crystal ball stuff.

So if you’re “on the fence,” get off the fence and look into it. If you’re scrambling and “too busy” to seriously look into it, stop being head-down and butt-up. Stop disrespecting the opportunity in front of you and get after it. Seize the opportunity and secure your financial freedom.

If you’re “swamped” and another year goes by, you’ll be behind, chasing it, rather than having them chasing you.

It’s irresponsible not to look into it. You owe it to yourself (and to your family) to give me a call and at least see what your opportunity might be.
